Webinar: “How can education support a sustainable and healthy food system?”
How can educational institutions lead the transition to sustainable and healthy food systems? This question will be at the heart of this webinar on October 22nd at 3 pm CEST.
In collaboration with JPI HDHL and EUFIC, the event will delve into the critical role that higher education plays in transforming food systems to be more sustainable and healthier.
The webinar will feature insightful presentations on the efforts of the FOODPathS and CLEVERFOOD projects in food systems education. One of the invited speakers is Eduardo Urias from VU Amsterdam. Eduardo is a partner in both CLEVERFOOD and FoSSNet. In addition to sharing insights from the CLEVERFOOD project, Eduardo will explore how the collaboration with FoSSNet supports these ambitions, through initiatives like Collaborative Curriculum Design, piloting new curricula and the FoSSNet Conferences.
Following this, a panel discussion will bring together diverse perspectives from industry (EIT Food), policymakers (FAO), and student representatives (ENDietS), offering a comprehensive view of the challenges and opportunities in this area.
The insights from this webinar will also contribute to shaping the European Partnership for Sustainable Food Systems (FutureFoodS).
Stay tuned for the final agenda, which will be available soon on the FOODPathS website. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover how education can be a powerful catalyst for a sustainable food future!
