Conferences

FoSSNet will organise three interlinked conferences during the project’s timeframe and an additional event will be held in Warsaw, focusing on expanding the network in Eastern Europe. These events will serve as a forum for sharing knowledge and ideas, empowering all stakeholders, and contributing to the achievement of the project objectives.    

The first conference will be in Oxford in 2025, move to Lund in 2026, and culminate in Brussels in 2027. Each conference will build upon the outcomes of the previous one, creating a cohesive and comprehensive dialogue on the development and implementation of food system science.

1st Conference – Oxford, 25-27 March 2025: Food Systems conceptual issues (upon invitation only) 

2nd Conference – Lund, 2026: How to operationalize the concepts and FSS 

3rd Conference – Brussels, 2027: Policy and practice recommendations
